Self-Catering
Risk Assessments
The proposed landlord registration for self-catering accommodation will become live in October 2022. This places an obligation on you, as the property owner, to provide detailed fire safety assurance in the form of a fire risk assessment.
The proposed scheme will also require you to have a suitable legionella risk assessment and management plan in place, as part of the application process.
We at RMSS can provide fire risk assessments to the recognised PAS79:2020 standard, along with
detailed fire safety advice.
We can conduct a legionella assessment and develop a management plan, to ensure peace of mind for you, the owner. The proposed legislation also requires access advice on your property and our accredited access consultants, can provide such expert advice and documentation.
